  • Cow and Calf with Vivid Heather

Famed for not only its rugged Yorkshire beauty, but also the celebrated anthem ‘On Ilkley Moor Bar Tat’ - the rolling hills of Ilkley moor holds fond childhood memories for artist Howard Rushfirth. Here is his vivid depiction of the most iconic feature of the area - the Cow and Calf rocks, surrounded by vivid purple heather. Inspired by the internationally renowned artist David Hockney, fellow Yorkshire artist Howard Rushfirth has created a collection of pieces created on iPad.

These distinctive pieces have been rendered in a spontaneous and lively style. Bold, fresh, full of character his canvases offer something quite different for your home or place of work. They would also add a focal point to bars, restaurants hotel suites and public spaces.

Each limited edition will be one of just 250, and the buyer is also supplied with a unique numbered certificate of authenticity which is signed by the artist. For an additional cost, the actual canvas itself can be personally hand signed by the artist.

    • LIMITED EDITION FINE ART PRINT

      Size 12" x 10" (Image 10" x 8" approx)

Our Giclée fine art prints are produced with 8 passes at 1440 dpi using a 10-colour pigment ink system, for smooth graduations, less bronzing, and an impressive colour range, and printed on a premium grade paper.

      LIMITED EDITION CANVAS

      Size 46" x 34"

Our canvases are created using the Giclée method, on tight-weave bright white 400gsm cotton canvas with a uniform non-cracking surface, matte coated for longevity, and hand-stretched onto heavy duty 38mm-deep knotless solid kiln-dried fir stretcher bars from sustainable sources in Europe.

They have built-in corner wedges that make it easy to tighten the canvas and arrive ready to hang, backed with brown framing tape and a flat hanging system that keeps your canvas lying perfectly against the wall.

      PLEASE NOTE

Room visuals show an artist's impression of the canvas hung in situ. Please refer to given dimensions for accurate size.

Whilst we strive for colour accuracy on our listing images, the colours of the final piece may vary slightly from what you may see on screen.

This artwork has been produced on an iPad Pro on the highest resolution possible for the device. It has then been digitally enlarged. As a result here may be some degrees of pixilation on close inspection. This is not a flaw but a normal characteristic of the medium and style.
